Mark Ruffalo, Michelle Williams, Emily Mortimer and Max von Sydow co-star in director Martin Scorsese’s plot twist-filled psychological thriller set on a Massachusetts island in 1954.

Now, the students must find a way out of their trippy hallucinations to defend themselves against the maniacs. Noah Segan, Elina Madison and Ezra Buzzington star in this psycho-delic, over-the-top bloodbath from director Chad Ferrin.

Cornered! (2008) R
Suspense and black humor blend as a serial killer stalks Los Angeles convenience marts, where he tortures and slays the occupants. When store owner Steve (Eduardo Antonio Garcia) and his buddies begin a poker game one night, the stakes are higher than they can imagine. The players start to disappear, and when they see one of their friends murdered via security camera footage, the race for survival begins. Steve Guttenberg and James Duval co-star.

HF Recommends…The Wolf Man (2010) UR
I have to admit to not having seen this, but it’s a remake of a classic so it’s definitely on my list. And most importantly, Benicio Del Toro is hot. You guys know me, hot boy will watch.
Based on the 1941 classic, this werewolf-themed horror film set in Victorian England centers on Lawrence Talbot (Benicio Del Toro), an American man who, upon a visit to London, gets bitten by a werewolf. Talbot had come to England to make amends with his estranged father (Anthony Hopkins), but after a moonlight transformation leaves him with a savage hunger for flesh, family harmony is the least of his worries.

Babysitter Wanted (2008) R
When she takes a job babysitting a young boy (Kai Caster) for a night at his family’s remote farmhouse, sweet college co-ed Angie Albright (Sarah Thompson) becomes the target of a scar-covered creep making mysterious phone calls and prowling outside the windows. Angie gets the drop on the would-be killer, but quickly discovers that her nightmare has just begun. Jonas Barnes and Michael Manasseri direct this darkly humorous horror flick.

Finale (2009) NR
Refusing to believe that her occultist son died by his own hand, Helen (Carolyn Hauck) follows a twisted trail to an old Victorian swathed in black paint, a booby-trapped bedroom and demonic encounters that ravage her sense of reality in this lushly filmed slasher. Consumed by paranoid visions, and with her daughter, Kathryn (Suthi Picotte), in mortal jeopardy, Helen descends headlong into the shrieking abyss that swallowed her son.

Paul Bettany co-stars in this thriller as the archangel Michael, who was sent to Earth to steer humankind away from darkness and toward the light.

The family then experiences a series of strange and inexplicable events centered in and around their home. Profoundly unsettled, the Palmers seek the help of psychic and parapsychologist, Ray Kemeny. Ray discovers that Alice led a secret, double life. A series of clues lead the family to Lake Mungo where Alice’s secret past emerges. THE GRAVES:
From the creator of the legendary comics Evil Ernie and Lady Death, comes The Graves. On their last weekend together, Megan and Abby Graves are lost in a remote part of the Arizona desert where they are lured to Skull City Mine, an abandoned mine town. But they soon learn Skull City is anything but abandoned — and there’s no way out. The sisters are now prey, forced to unleash their most primitive instincts in a desperate, all-out battle for survival against unspeakable horrors — both human and supernatural.

DREAD :
Produced by Clive Barker and adapted from his Books of Blood collection by Anthony DiBlasi (screenwriter), Dread follows Stephen (Jackson Rathbone, The Twilight Saga) and Cheryl (Laura Donnelly), college students making a documentary about what people dread in life. But they have no idea that their partner, Quaid (Shaun Evans), witnessed his parents being murdered by an axe-wielding lunatic and wants to make others experience his own personal horror. Called “one of the finest Clive Barker adaptations to date,” by shocktillyoudrop.com, “Dread delivers on all chilling counts,” according to fangoria.com.

ZOMBIES OF MASS DESTRUCTION :
A conservative island community is under attack! Port Gamble, Washington is being overrun with brain eaters, and the people seem powerless to stave them off. A rag tag band of rebels led by Frida, an Iranian college student suspected of being an Iraqi terrorist, and Tom, a gay businessman who has returned to town with his partner to come out to his mother, tries to turn the tide and push the invading hoards of undead back. Called “the best of its type since Shaun of the Dead,” filmthreat.com states, “Zombies of Mass Destruction is a limb-shucking, eye-gouging hoot, full of both disemboweled stomachs and belly laughs.”

HIDDEN:
With his mother’s passing, KK returns home after nineteen years to settle her estate. But with his heritage comes dark and deadly secrets. Having spent the last two decades trying to forget his cruel mother and his past life in the creepy house in the woods, KK finds that there are some things you just can’t run from. Thefreshfilms.com declares “…Hidden is bordering on greatness.”

THE FINAL:
Dane, an awkward student with a deadly vendetta, leads a group of outcasts who plot to avenge the years of humiliation they faced by the popular students at Hohn High School. The outcasts turn the tables on the popular students who made sport of them and prepare for a single night that will leave their tormentors scarred for life.

KILL THEORY :
Seven college students visit a secluded vacation home to celebrate graduation and become trapped in a deadly game by a mysterious killer. Forced to kill one another by 6 am the following morning, only one of them can remain alive. Whoever remains will be allowed to walk away with his or her life. However, if morning comes and more than one is still breathing, everyone dies. Friends and couples must test their trust as the clock ticks away. Some will fight for love, some to survive, but all will change. Because deep down… we’re all killers.

THE REEDS :

He seems to know details of Jessica’s life that only his brother would be familiar with, prompting Jessica to suspect that a supernatural force is at work.

Roland Emmerich co-writes and directs a star-studded ensemble cast that also includes Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Woody Harrelson, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Danny Glover.

This is one of those corny chessey ass movies from the 80s, that as a kid I thought was brilliant. Enjoy!
When Jake (Charlie Sheen) is murdered by a gang of drag racers led by a thug named Packard (Nick Cassavetes), he returns from the grave looking for revenge in a souped-up supernatural car. With the cops on his tail, the ghostly driver terrorizes the gang, picking off the miscreants one at a time. With a soundtrack featuring Billy Idol, Mötley Crüe and Ozzy Osbourne, this campy 1980s thriller co-stars Randy Quaid and Sherilyn Fenn.
