There are a few things I can say without hesitation and one of them is, Marnie is crazy y’all. I mean completely off the reservation, padded room, old fashioned Thorazine drip needing crazy. Still holding the Wiccan’s captive inside the magic shop, Marnie threw a dagger at one of the women that was trying to leave and killed her. Personally, I blame Tara. You guys realize this is all Tara’s fault. It’s always Tara’s fault. Hurricane Irene – Tara. Tropical Storm Lee – Tara. My steel cut oatmeal was slightly lumpy this morning – Tara. After Marnie committed homicide Antonia decides that she wants out of this whole situation, but Marnie pulls a fast one and casts a spell to bind them together for good. As stated earlier Marnie – crazy.

Meanwhile, outside of the magic shop: Bill, Eric, Pam and Jessica have reconvened to blow some shit up. Jason of course comes along to inform them that Sookie is inside, to which they respond, “That dumb bitch!!” Ok, they didn’t say that, at least Bill and Eric didn’t. Jason reminds them that they’ve all had lots of sex with her, so of course they decide to not blow the building up. BTW, Pam what in the hell is a gash? And do I add that to my arsenal of swear words? Seriously, Pam can’t believe everyone is willing to forgo offing the witch for Sookie’s safety. She calls Sookie a gash in a sundress.

Over on the other side of town Sam is continuing to audition for the inevitable Death Wish remake, by holding a gun on one of Marcus’ werewolves to learn of his whereabouts. All the while Marcus is trying to convince Druggie Debbie to run away with him, and he stopped along the way to snatch his daughter from her school. Speaking of druggie’s, Andy is walking his way home from being left in the woods by Terry last week. On his comical yet boring way home a fairy visits him. Seriously. For some reason, I’m sure we’ll be told next season, they make love. Hint: I guess the fairies are looking to spawn some more Sookie-like people.

Two words: Vintage Cartier! That’s it! Game over! One of the female vampires’ Marnie has bewitched is wearing vintage Cartier, but great style didn’t save her from becoming a ball of goo as Bill throws her into the force field surrounding the magic store. Marnie has harnessed the sun to make the field. Good show, actually there Marnie! We also find out, she is doing all this because Marnie has no friends in her life before Antonia. Call Dr. Phil, Oprah somebody. Don’t kill a bunch of people because no one liked you in high school. After Bill summons them all outside for another truce meeting Marnie agrees to release Sookie, but Bill and Eric must agree to meet the true death. They both agree to die for Sookie’s freedom. But Pam instead blows the building up, while calling Sookie Bo Peep. Seriously, I heart you Pam!

Inside the magic store Jesus has come with a plan of using the dead girl’s body to unbind Marnie from Antonia. He warns Lafayette it’s about to get ugly in there. He literally drinks dead chicks blood. Jesus does some chanting and his faced turns back into the Santeria-demon thing he turned into last week. Over at Alcide’s, Sam finally squares off with Marcus. De hombre a hombre. After Sam completes fisticuffs with Marcus, but leaves him alive. Marcus then decides to go for the gun to shoot Sam. Alcide being the sexy giant he is accidentally kills Marcus when he tries to stop him. Oops! Oh, well as long as you keep looking like you do, I think no one cares whose you neck mistakenly break. Break on Sexy! Afterwards he throws Druggie out, again! I half felt sorry for Debs this time. I think she really tried to not be a crack head. You know who I blame? Tara.

Back to Jesus and Marnie. After Jesus completes the spell Antonia departs leaving Marnie to just be a powerless harmless nutter. Eric and Bill go inside to of course kill this bitch. The stupid guy, who Tara calls an Uncle Tom (that reference didn’t fit at ALL, btw), tells Eric and Bill they have to go through him to get to Marnie, to which Eric literally a blink of the eye pulls homeboy’s heart from his chest and drinks it like a McDonald’s milkshake. Yum! Eric, not the heart shake. Bill precedes to fill Marnie full of real bullets. Just like that Marnie is no more! Before you weep for Marns, later that night she deicedes to use medium Lafayette’s body to try to make one last run at the brass ring. To be continued…

Overall I’m not really sure about this episode. This was certainly better than last week, but not much better. It’s was still a bit on the lackluster side to me. But, it’s looking like the season finale might prove to give us something to cheer about. I would give it 6/10 if I were rating it. Thoughts, theories, groans, moans?

On last night’s episode of The Misadventures of Elvis and Priscilla Bill makes an attempt to rescue Sookie from the dungeon at Fangtasia, only to be taken down by Pam’s magically silver spray. Out of nowhere, the Russian, Serbian (?) sex slave dancer appears and frees Sookie and then the bitch turns on Pam and aids Sookie and Bill in their escape. Dumb, didn’t Eric sex you for like six hours or something, what’s your gripe? Color me confused. Back at La-La’s house, he and Jesus have returned from down the v-hole. Jesus really, really likes it there and wants to return immediately.
But, Lafayette is having what can only be described as a fucked up Santeria v-flashback. Uh, oh, this can’t be good.

At Trailer de Stackhouse, Deliverceina reveals to Stupid Hot she is a werepanther. Still don’t care about this, but anyway she is engaged to her half-brother folks and needs Jason to rescue her from her Deliverance life. For the first time I think ever Jason responded properly he left her sitting there alone like she deserves. Fucked up bitch! As much as I like Jessica and Hoyt, I don’t care enough to bother. Know that there was some making out and proclamations of love and some feeding. Nothing says I love you better than letting someone bite your ass. Trust. Moving on.

Now and what I thought was going to be some badass cgi-ed-out square off between Nutter King and Eric at the museum, turned out to be Eric bargaining with King to return to Fangtasia where they could feed off Sookie. You see Sookie is Tinkerbell and her magical fairy blood is the magical elixir that allows for “Daywalking.” Think Blade. Perhaps Stephen Dorff will show up next season and take his shirt off too. A girl can have goals too. Nonetheless, Nutter King agrees and tells Eric if you are wrong, “I’ll kill you tomorrow.” By the way, does anyone else want cherry flavored punch when you see the King with Talbot’s remains?

Anyone else think Ginger needs to find a new job? Poor bitch releases Pam from her silver shackles only to be fed on by Pam once again. Classifieds Ginger, look into them. On the drive home from Fangtasia Sookie admitted her feelings for Eric. Duh! Then Elvis took out his guitar and sang Love Me Tender or Jailhouse Rock or someshit. I don’t know I can’t watch these two for some reason unless, they’re sexing. Tara traded in her tank tops for one of Sam’s shirts and visited Eggs at his new home, the cemetery. She cried again. Who cares?

Damn Sam is a mean drunk. He showed up at Marlotte’s and went batshit on everybody. Fat, ugly, dumb, shell-shocked, bitch muthafuckers! That would make an excellent rap song; someone get Lil Jon on the phone stat. Sam basically threw everyone out of the bar and hurt Terry’s feelings. Now, I’m all for feeling hurting, but not Terry’s. Direct your rage at Arlene or Bill or anyone else I don’t like. There was some football junk with Stupid Hot that I didn’t listen to, so can’t help you there. Tara returns to Marlotte’s to tell Andy that she knows that Jason killed Eggs. To which Andy replied, “Bitch, don’t nobody care about Eggs.” Maybe not, but it should have because Tara don’t nobody care about Eggs! Move on! While Sam was spewing a new, found although clever batch of crazy he threw his little puppy out. Why do I get the feeling Little Puppy can’t read? In two weeks, we’ll have that afterschool special. Mark my words.

Meanwhile, Elvis and Priscilla were driving along singing the Blue Hawaii soundtrack, King Crazy pulled off the coolest HBO True Blood trick, stopping their car matrix style. Hell YEAH! Arlene went Wiccan to abort Rene’s spawn, shit didn’t work, baby still coming. Blessed Be. Sam, oh, thee of excellent ass cheeks. Seriously, Sam has a great butt. He and Tara rediscovered each other, wink, wink.

Now for the OH SHIT moment of the night! Eric and King drink from Sookie’s fountain of fairy. Eric walks outside in the daylight where he appears to be daywalking. This prompts King to do the same. To which Eric turns around burning now and handcuffs himself to King in silver cuffs. What the hell?!?! Now, this made for a really great cliffhanger.
Now we all know Alan Ball is not crazy, there is no way Eric’s going anywhere, but we are all curious how he is going to get out of this mess. My suggestion is send Bill outside! Serious Elvis stage left. Overall, a pretty good eventful episode. Now, I know you’ll miss me next week as we don’t get another episode until September 12th. Just when you thought it was safe to turn on the news Kingy goes all sorts of nutter on your asses. First things first, the King returns to his mansion to scoop up his beloved Talbot off that Persian rug. It’s kind of fitting, isn’t it? We all know how much Talbot loved his furnishings. King is crazy and the lost of his beloved isn’t cool for anyone, especially when he realizes Eric not only offed Talbot, but took the Viking crown, I’m sure he put two and two together, which is going to equal some serious bad shit for Eric.

Is it me or is Sookie and Bill less annoying right now? How’d that happen, but they are having some serious hot sexy times. Nonetheless, Bill comes clean with Sooks about the file he has been keeping on her and her family, explaining that he was researching so he could figure out what she is to keep her safe. Of course, she bought that bullshit. Eric the Viking is screwed, he informs poor Pam of what he has done and of course, the vampire FBI (thanks Ginger) decides to make Eric explain everything going on his district. The officials put Eric/Fangtasia on lockdown.

Not much has been going on with LaLa, he is just in love and I love it. I’m usually jaded but, love looks good on him, so I’ll allow it. Speaking of love that I don’t approve of, there’s Jason and Deliveranceina. She of course is completely full of shit, much to Stupid Hot’s downfall, I’m afraid. Her cousin-fiancé showed up to rescue her from Jason. Of course, she lies about Jason to him and then proceeds to beat cousin-fiancé with a shotgun. You see Deliveranceina is annoying complicated. Is this storyline not coming together properly to anyone else but me? Seriously, I understand in the books Deliveranceina has purpose, but in this True Blood reality, they are taking too much time explaining her and her family’s storyline.

Oh, Little Puppy seriously? Terry calls Sam to complain about all the noise Little Puppy was keeping up while he was having sex company over. Sam leaves Tara (she was confiding in him about her adventures with Frankly Nuts) and goes over to find Little Puppy with some girl running around the house doing drugs and having the sex, loudly. Little Puppy is kind of on my nerves. Little Puppy needs a slap. Tara joins a support group for rape survivors, where Holly (the new waitress at Marlotte’s) is a member. Random? Or, is it? Speaking of random, Hadley calls Sookie and asks her to meet her at the aquarium. She wants Sookie to tell her if her son has the same ailment Sookie does (being a telepath), which of course he does. Hadley’s a canary too.

Arlene confides in Holly that she doesn’t want Rene’s baby because, “It’s pure evil.” Way to be dramatic there girl. Now off to Canary Land with Bill! That’s right, during his slumber Bill awoke in Canary Land, all dressed in white linen. What boys can’t be bedazzled? Ask Christian Audigier. Bill you were robbed! Anylame, Claudine immediately believes Bill has killed Sookie, because how else did he get a trip to Canary Land. She runs as fast as her little invisible wings (hint, hint) can carry her, where Bill tries to bite her. Not so fast, there vampire, Claudine has the same light bright ability as Sookie, so she sends Bill flying across Canary Land. Bill got owned!

There of course was some filler moments in the episode like Hoyt/Jessica and their little saga. Then there was LaLa/Tara and their little moment of family love. Now on to the good. First off who knew Sam was part batshit? I didn’t! Anyway, Deliveranceina’s daddy/uncle shows up at Marlotte’s and starts making trouble. Sam jumps on the crazy train with everyone else and beats the living shit out of daddy literally sending him to the hospital. Wow, who knew? Of course, Little Puppy couldn’t be prouder. Guess who pops up? Frankly Nuts!!!! He corners Tara and threatens to kill her, but Stupid Hot comes to her rescue! Re-earning his hot, Jason shots Frankly with a wooden bullet ending his ride on the crazy train! Farewell Franklin, you were great!

Bill finally confessed to Sookie what she is, although they didn’t tell us. The American Vampire League (Vampire FBI) informs Eric that they do not care how he resolves the King Krazy drama; they want no parts of it. The leader of the organization or whatever her name is tells Eric to find the king and bring her his fangs or she’ll have Eric’s. In what should go down as the best TV moment of 2010 King Russell earned his crown. Picture it, you sit down to watch the news and suddenly a mad man comes from nowhere and literally puts his hand through the news anchor’s back and pulls out his spine. Yes that shit happened. Russell is gone folks, no turning back, no amount of therapy will help! King Russell (as he must forever be called) takes the anchor dudes’ seat and gives this wonderful soliloquy of nutter rage, well almost a soliloquy about how absolutely scary and dangerous vampires are to us humans, while holding the anchor’s bloody spine in his hand! Brilliant! I loved every second.

Overall, this episode has made up for EVERYthing that has been getting on my nerves this season. I even forgive pink, purple and orange Canary Land. But, never Bill’s 1987 tracksuit wearing, something’s aren’t easily forgiven. It was a nonstop action filled episode, where just when you thought that was “the moment” of the episode something else would happen. For the first time ever, I would give it a 9.5/10, if I were rating it. Now, for the weather. Back to you Tiffany.

Now the True Blood season 3 promo machine comes to a halt, HBO released this picture of Bill from his war days. You know that war where the South got its ass kicked. The war where the South committed treason by succeeding from the United States. The war that inspired that awful ass Gone with the Wind bullshit. You know that war.

Anyway True Blood starts June 13th.

It’s almost June, so we should be getting some fun little facts like this from time to time. So, you guys remember Lorena right? She’s the chick that made Bill back during the Civil War, and he sent her away in bloody tears last season. ‘Memba? Anyway, Lorena will be reportedly bringing her madness back to Bon Temps or Mississippi hint, hint this season for up to six episodes.

Anyone else somewhat happy about Lorena’s return? Seriously, Bill is not my favorite vamp in town, (all about some Eric) but I thoroughly enjoyed the dark edge his character had during the flashbacks.

Also, Alan Ball says there will not be a Bubba character on the show. I’m not an Elvis fan, but I actually like the Bubba character. Thank you, thank you very much! (Ok, that shit was tired but whatever it’s Friday, bitches!)

According to the Aussilo files, Bill and Sam will be kind “connected” this season, if you know what I mean. Like they will have feelings for each other. Those kind of feelings…read on.

If you’re one of the (many) True Blood viewers who suspected there might be fallout from Bill “donating” blood to save Sam’s life in the finale last September, go ahead and give yourself a gold star. The show’s boss, Alan Ball, tells me that in season 3, the hunks will forge “not just any connection, an erotic connection.”
How erotic? Ball wouldn’t say.

It might be the fact that Bill is my least fav character but this is a lovematch the Fatale can’t get behind.

Alan Ball gave an interview with Advocate and he let some good information slip regarding Season 3 drop.
We’ll be meeting the vampire king of Mississippi and his long, long-term companion — and by long-term I mean really long-term — Talbot. I think Lafayette may meet a love interest, and certainly Pam, who works with Eric, she’s certainly got a lesbian vibe — I don’t know that that’s all she is, but she certainly does seem to appreciate the women.

I was kind of hoping Eric and Lafayette would have something, because think of the cattiness Pam would unleash at the idea of that.
I think Sophie-Anne is definitely interested in Sookie; I don’t believe it’s for sexual or romantic reasons but she is definitely interested in Sookie and whatever it is about Sookie that is special beyond the realm of what is human, and that’s something that we definitely will learn more about in the upcoming season.

About those book things…
How much as writers do you stay true to the book series?
I think we try to stay very true to the spirit of the book series. We have made changes. The books are all narrated by Sookie, so the books are basically all Sookie’s story. We definitely have — in fleshing out the other characters — been creative. I think where we may not stay true to the books entirely, we do try to stay very true to the spirit of them.

You’ve said recently that a character will die in season 3. Will this story line follow the third book?
I’m a little leery to answer these questions because if I say yes it just gives it away. For people who read the books, some things will not come as a surprise. But for people who don’t read the books, it will be a surprise.

Are we excited? I miss this show. And FYI, Jason gets naked again!!!
There’s no shortage of man candy on the show and Jason is back in Bon Temps and he may be up to his old ways. I can tell you that you’ll definitely get to see a lot of Jason in the first few episodes, and by a lot, I mean a lot physically.

BTW, sorry for the late post, but life gets in the way sometimes. First off who knew Andy Belfor actually has a purpose, he actually managed to drunken stumble upon the MaryAnn sex orgy and save our favorite dog Sam. Good for him, maybe I won’t club him for upsetting Lafayette in the last episode. Soon after, we see Hugo having a claustrophobic meltdown and still stuck in the basement of the Newlins church along with Sookie. She is using her detective skills to piece together that someone tipped the church off about their ill-fated little find Godric mission. And unfortunately for them Bill is trapped in his hotel room by Lorana.

Can I just say I really like Lorana? Whoever is dressing this chick for her flashbacks is channeling Edith Head. Don’t worry you can look that up later. Anyfashion, we get a flashback to 1935 Los Angeles where Bill is telling Lorana how evil she is and has made him lose all his humanity, blah, blah, blah. Apparently, Bill has always been a fuddy-duddy, perfect for Sookie in every way in my opinion. STUPID HOT brought Sister Sara to tears, girls!!! Give the man a pat on the back, or a cookie. Apparently he sexed her brain out because she wants to confess it to her crazy ass husband.

Hoyt my friends is simply charming! Seriously, he is adorable. He is a 28 year old virgin. And to no one surprise so is Jessica. Pretty easy to figure out where the story is going, right? Here’s a Public Service Announcement, DO NOT SMOKE MARYANN’S WEED! Just when I thought Tara was starting to figure it out, she doesn’t. Eggs explains it all away, with the fact they must have blacked out from the pot. I’m really starting to really dislike Eggs. It’s just the fact that he is seemly content with sitting on a couch all day or following Tara to the bar. Who does that? And why hasn’t this big chunk of reality hit Tara yet? She’s not bewitched all the time.

Sam being a true Southerner had a bad encounter, he gets armed. But, according to Daphne, Maryann is a god and he’s probably going to need something a little bigger. Meanwhile, Hugo sang like a bird to the good Reverend giving up Sookie and the vamps who sent them. To which the Rev. snapped because he thinks it’s all a scheme involving Stupid Hot as well. In one of the many straight from the book moments of the episode, Sookie sends a message to fellow telepath Barry telling her where she and Hugo are being held. Now run Lassie and get help! Unfortunately, Lorana will not let Bill leave and informs him that Eric summoned her.

Anyone feel sorry for Andy? He is the only one who isn’t under Maryann’s spell and no one believes him. They have reduced him to the crazy drunk dude. Why do I get the feeling he might be the only one who comes out of this in the end unscathed? Tara and Eggs seem not to notice Maryann has man feet and neither one of them seem bothered that the woman apparently killed a rabbit with her bare hands. Rabbit, it’s what for dinner, I guess. WAKE UP TARA!

In another straight from the book moment, Hugo is a trader. Apparently he is jaded because Isabel won’t turn him. Whatever. Stupid Hot went all violent after whathisname called Sookie some nasty names. Finally fleeing the Vamp Hating Church scene or trying to anyway. There were some other episode fillers like Arlene thinking she raped Terry, Lafayette warning Tara in his most colorful way that Eggs is trouble. Satan in a Sunday Hat! Pretty good, but Satan in a Sunday Hat Hooka, would have been better, but still colorful nonetheless.

Eggs under Maryann’s black Coroline eye spell, made him stab Daphne. Good because I didn’t like that character anyway. And in more pointless moments, Bill tells Lorana he never loved her, Sister Sara decides to shoot Stupid Hot. Eric heard Barry tell Lorana that Sookie is being held captive. Can Eric get sexier? In another straight from the book Godric himself rescues Sookie from being raped. And as some of you guys might have noticed Godric is kind of hot. Wait…how old is the dude playing him? Strike that last statement until I see some I.D.

Overall the episode of course was jam-packed with excitement and more plot devices for the future, but I could do without the Days of Lives love moments with Bill and Lorana. And I’m really, really hoping the Maryann resolution isn’t based on scorned woman syndrome, because that my friends is weak. And basically who cares? I would give the episode an 8/10 if I were rating it. Thoughts, groans, moans?

So, she’s a shapeshifter. Daphne is a deer changing shapeshifter bad waitress. Good one, Alan Ball. This is completely not book 2, which is kind of the running theme of last night’s show in my opinion. I feel like the book Dead in Dallas is a part of the witness protection program because the names and events have all been changed so much. Anyway, Daphne is just like Sam, but I still don’t trust her.

Can we get a few more scenes with Terry? I really like his character, he makes me smile. And apparently he makes Arlene smile as well. Or, he did out in those woods at Tara’s party. Sookie decides to not only annoy us, but she starts virtually stalking Barry the Bellhop telepath as well. Barry tells Sookie the vamps of Dallas are badass and he has no desire to share his gift with them or her for that matter. Alright I REALLY have to ask, what in the Twilight is going on with all these sappy sweet syrup moments between Sookie and Bill? I don’t know if it’s just me, but it’s gotten way over the top with we’re in love jazz. We get it, move on. For some reason that escapes me, Sookie doesn’t know what a continental breakfast consists of and that it’s free. Really She was kind of over annoying to me in this episode.

Back in Bon Temps, Tara wakes up from her night of birthday sex and starts reflecting on her sad little life and how Mrs. Stackhouse was kind of the only mother figure she ever had. Awww, I too miss her and those delicious looking breakfast she always made. In Dallas, Stupid Hot is having his first day at Vampire Slayer Bootcamp. I mean seriously, has it occurred to Jason that this “camp” is full of the crazy. But he forges on anyway, trying to be the best he can be. Simper Vamp, I guess.

One more time, I still do not trust Daphne and I love the way Arlene of the bad red wig absolutely hates her. That makes me happy. Maryann also started to show her full crazy, by announcing that she, Eggs and the servant dude would like to move into Stackhouse manor. Tara of course protested, she after all is a visitor as well, this lead to an argument with Eggs, who did little in my opinion to explain the ”relationship” between he and Maryann. We’re a family, is not cutting it, hot abs. We’re gonna need a little more than that.

We get our introduction to Stan and Isabel in this episode, who looks absolutely nothing like the characters from the book. I mean Stan was like unber-nerd in the book, but instead we got a Stetson wearing hot dude from Eureka. Ok, maybe that’s the consolation because Chow in the book hot, Chow on tv, not. Anyway, Stan does not agree with Eric’s plan to find the missing Godric. But Sookie agrees to go undercover at the church to do so. I just wanted her to take her clothes off and throw them away. Did you see her in that red disaster of an outfit? What the hell?

Meanwhile, Jason excels at being vampire slayer solider of the year and gets rewarded by Sara in a “real hands on” kind of way. At Marlotte’s Maryann puts a spell on everyone making them all turn on Tara, which of course makes her decides she needs her little family around afterall. Most importantly last night we got glorious Eric’s back-story. It seems Godric “made” Eric the Viking, Eric the Vampire years ago. He reveals this fact to Bill, so now I’m all about Godric as well. I really want to see more of this character. I can’t wait to see how he is fleshed out on screen.

Just for good measure Maryann did her best impression of the late Mrs. Stackhouse, right down to the apron. Consoling Tara after her bad night at the bar. I was seriously like damn, Tara wake up and smell the housedress.* BTW, if you haven’t heard, I don’t trust Daphne. Lfayette made a fabulous return to Marlotte’s, but he was really not himself. We ended the episode with more of Bill and Sookie banter, that I wasn’t listening to. Something about love and sex or whatever, and Bill’s maker made her first appearance this season. Uh, oh, Sookie it’s on. *If you don’t know what a housedress is, ask someone southern for a definition

Overall the episode was good, not ground breaking or earth shattering. I would give the episode an 7/10 if I were rating it. Thoughts, groans, moans?

What is Daphne’s plan? Why and how did she manage to find Sam?
Will Sister Sara continue to bathe Jason?
