“Grimm” is a new drama series inspired by the classic Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Portland homicide Detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli, “Turn The Beat Around”) discovers he is descended from an elite line of criminal profilers known as “Grimms,” charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world.

As he tries to hide the dangers of his new found calling from his fiancé, Juliette Silverton, (Bitsie Tulloch, “quarterlife”), and his partner, Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby, “Lincoln Heights”), he becomes ever more entrenched in the ancient rivalries and alliances of the Grimm world.

With help from his confidant, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell, “Prison Break”), a reformed Grimm creature himself, Nick must navigate through the forces of a larger-than-life mythology, facing off with Hexenbiests, Blutbads and all manner of ancient evils, including royal lines dating back to the original profilers themselves, The Grimm Brothers. Reggie Lee (“Persons Unknown”) and Sasha Roiz (“Caprica”) also star.

Grimm debuts October 28th 9/8 on NBC.

This contains big time spoilers. If you haven’t watched the episode, I am advising you turn back now. Save yourself.**
Well the time has come for us to put the stools back on top of the bar and turn off the lights as another season of the soap opera that is True Blood has ended. For the most part last night’s episode wasn’t that great until the second half. But, here we go nonetheless. The episode was entitled And When I Die because as you might have noticed there was a lot of death happening.

First off, Nelsan Ellis has beautiful eyes. The first shot of the episode shows Lala being treated to an awful breakfast of gross eggs served by Jesus. Soon enough he discovers what we learned last week Marnie is still crazy in the hereafter and has decided she doesn’t want to walk into the light. So the crazy has done what she does, hijacked Lala’s body. Marnie’s response to Jesus’ discovery — stab him! Actually he should have been stabbed for his horrible hair style and for those disgusting eggs. But Marnie wants the demon inside of Jesus inside her and decides to bloodlet him and take it. Which oddly enough works. So, if I go stab Rachel McAdams, I can have Ryan Gosling inside of me? Ok, down girl! But that was an odd method to me, but whatever. Jesus is dead. R.I.P.

Jason decides to tell Hoyt whom I no longer like, that he had sex with Jessica. Hoyt reacts in the customary bros before hoes way and proceeds to beat on Jason. Really beat on Jason. Later Jessica visits Jason and she explains as much she is enjoying the sex she has no plans to get serious with him. Let me just say, that whole love scene with them was HOT!! And giving Jason all props he actually understands that this woman has just started growing up and discover the woman she might be. Good job! Jason you have re-earned your title you are officially Stupid Hot again! Love live Jasonica.

Speaking of hot. Alcide!! Alcide!! And for good measure Alcide!! He shows up at Marlotte’s to tell Sookie he is finally done with Druggie and thinks she should give him a try. I can’t think of a clever transition so…Tara goes over to Lafayette’s and discovers Jesus’ will not be back next season and informs Sookie and Holly that Marnie is back and this time wearing Lafayette. He is seriously going to go rent Ghost so he can learn how to control these possessions. Oda Mae Brown to the rescue! Marnie/Lafayette has managed to silver and hang Bill and Eric at the stake. Holly breaks out her Wiccan kit and works a spell, while Sookie shoots her hand lights at Lafayette. Whatever this spell is all the dead rise from their graves including Grandmother Stackhouse. No she didn’t bring any of her delicious looking food with her, but she did bring Antonia. Grand literally reaches down Lala’s throat and pulls Marns out. Antonia starts to talk Marnie down from her ledge of crazy and convinces her to walk into the light with all the rest of the spirits. Marnie is dead – again. R.I.P

There were of course some tie-ups the lesser storylines of the season moments: Andy wants to date Holly. Scott Foley shows up as one of Terry’s Marine buddies. Rene, yes Rene shows up tell Arlene to watch Terry because he is got some bad inside or something along those lines. After Eric and Bill were rescued they have a weird but comical buffet ala Sookie and she decides to leave them both. NOOOOO! Pick Eric! Pam has a breakdown where she really can’t believe that someone with such a stupid name can cause Eric’s loins to run so hot. Meanwhile, back at Graceland Bayou, Nan the Vampire shows up and tells Elvis she has been fired. She wants them to join her in her fight against the Council. To which Eric responds by ripping her guards hearts out and Bill stakes her. Nan is dead. R.I.P.

Over at Stackhouse Manor Debbie wearing her best Metallica t-shirt shows up wielding a shotgun. She of course is going to kill her some Sookie! Just as she points the gun to pull the trigger, Tara jumps in front of Sookie! She’s SHOTTTTTTT! Actually in what looks like her head. Sookie grabs the gun from Debs and shots her ass in the head. Tara is dead. (Maybe.) Debbie is dead. R.I.P.

Overall the episode was fairly decent. Like I said earlier the second half was much better than the beginning, which lagged a bit, was a tad boring, but it got cooking. For the most part the entire season lagged along and suffered from some clumsy storylines i.e. Frenchie the Ghost, Andy hooked on V and everything Sam did, but once again I’m sad to see it end. We certainly have setups for next season i.e. Tara as much as I would like isn’t dead. Which vampire will save her is the question? Andy most certainly impregnated a fairy. Sookie most likely will be fucking Alcide next season. Hopefully. Sam will probably marry Luna. And Terry will most likely go nutters again. And the BIGGIE, did Russell did himself out of the concrete? So this concludes the recaps of season four of True Blood. Season four is dead. R.I.P.

Thoughts, groans, moans, theories.

There are a few things I can say without hesitation and one of them is, Marnie is crazy y’all. I mean completely off the reservation, padded room, old fashioned Thorazine drip needing crazy. Still holding the Wiccan’s captive inside the magic shop, Marnie threw a dagger at one of the women that was trying to leave and killed her. Personally, I blame Tara. You guys realize this is all Tara’s fault. It’s always Tara’s fault. Hurricane Irene – Tara. Tropical Storm Lee – Tara. My steel cut oatmeal was slightly lumpy this morning – Tara. After Marnie committed homicide Antonia decides that she wants out of this whole situation, but Marnie pulls a fast one and casts a spell to bind them together for good. As stated earlier Marnie – crazy.

Meanwhile, outside of the magic shop: Bill, Eric, Pam and Jessica have reconvened to blow some shit up. Jason of course comes along to inform them that Sookie is inside, to which they respond, “That dumb bitch!!” Ok, they didn’t say that, at least Bill and Eric didn’t. Jason reminds them that they’ve all had lots of sex with her, so of course they decide to not blow the building up. BTW, Pam what in the hell is a gash? And do I add that to my arsenal of swear words? Seriously, Pam can’t believe everyone is willing to forgo offing the witch for Sookie’s safety. She calls Sookie a gash in a sundress.

Over on the other side of town Sam is continuing to audition for the inevitable Death Wish remake, by holding a gun on one of Marcus’ werewolves to learn of his whereabouts. All the while Marcus is trying to convince Druggie Debbie to run away with him, and he stopped along the way to snatch his daughter from her school. Speaking of druggie’s, Andy is walking his way home from being left in the woods by Terry last week. On his comical yet boring way home a fairy visits him. Seriously. For some reason, I’m sure we’ll be told next season, they make love. Hint: I guess the fairies are looking to spawn some more Sookie-like people.

Two words: Vintage Cartier! That’s it! Game over! One of the female vampires’ Marnie has bewitched is wearing vintage Cartier, but great style didn’t save her from becoming a ball of goo as Bill throws her into the force field surrounding the magic store. Marnie has harnessed the sun to make the field. Good show, actually there Marnie! We also find out, she is doing all this because Marnie has no friends in her life before Antonia. Call Dr. Phil, Oprah somebody. Don’t kill a bunch of people because no one liked you in high school. After Bill summons them all outside for another truce meeting Marnie agrees to release Sookie, but Bill and Eric must agree to meet the true death. They both agree to die for Sookie’s freedom. But Pam instead blows the building up, while calling Sookie Bo Peep. Seriously, I heart you Pam!

Inside the magic store Jesus has come with a plan of using the dead girl’s body to unbind Marnie from Antonia. He warns Lafayette it’s about to get ugly in there. He literally drinks dead chicks blood. Jesus does some chanting and his faced turns back into the Santeria-demon thing he turned into last week. Over at Alcide’s, Sam finally squares off with Marcus. De hombre a hombre. After Sam completes fisticuffs with Marcus, but leaves him alive. Marcus then decides to go for the gun to shoot Sam. Alcide being the sexy giant he is accidentally kills Marcus when he tries to stop him. Oops! Oh, well as long as you keep looking like you do, I think no one cares whose you neck mistakenly break. Break on Sexy! Afterwards he throws Druggie out, again! I half felt sorry for Debs this time. I think she really tried to not be a crack head. You know who I blame? Tara.

Back to Jesus and Marnie. After Jesus completes the spell Antonia departs leaving Marnie to just be a powerless harmless nutter. Eric and Bill go inside to of course kill this bitch. The stupid guy, who Tara calls an Uncle Tom (that reference didn’t fit at ALL, btw), tells Eric and Bill they have to go through him to get to Marnie, to which Eric literally a blink of the eye pulls homeboy’s heart from his chest and drinks it like a McDonald’s milkshake. Yum! Eric, not the heart shake. Bill precedes to fill Marnie full of real bullets. Just like that Marnie is no more! Before you weep for Marns, later that night she deicedes to use medium Lafayette’s body to try to make one last run at the brass ring. To be continued…

Overall I’m not really sure about this episode. This was certainly better than last week, but not much better. It’s was still a bit on the lackluster side to me. But, it’s looking like the season finale might prove to give us something to cheer about. I would give it 6/10 if I were rating it. Thoughts, theories, groans, moans?

Episode #48: “And When I Die” (season finale)
It’s Samhain, Wicca’s greatest holy day, and spirits of the dead surface in Bon Temps, giving Sookie valuable allies to combat Marnie’s newest incarnation. Lafayette’s latest medium encounter imperils his relationship with Jesus; Jason (Ryan Kwanten) finds confession good for the soul, but not the body; Alcide makes a heartfelt appeal to the woman he loves; Terry (Todd Lowe) receives an unexpected visitor at Merlotte’s; Sam and Luna (Janina Gavankar) envision a storybook ending, for once; Nan (Jessica Tuck) wears out her welcome with Bill and Eric. Debbie confronts Sookie and Tara (Rutina Wesley) with deadly consequences, and the denizens of Bon Temps brace for a new crisis with a familiar face.

This contains big time spoilers. If you haven’t watched the episode, I am advising you turn back now. Save yourself.**
Did you ever think you would see a 6’ 5” Viking tossing Elvis around the room like a bedazzled Raggedy Andy doll? Well honey that’s exactly what Eric was doing to Bill at the beginning of last night’s episode. Marnie/Antonia continuing to use her spell on Eric and a few other nameless vampires went all nutters at Bill’s “civil rights” meeting; not only killing vamps but more than a few humans met their demise as well. In the last seconds of Vamp-Brawl ’11 just as Eric had Bill on the ropes and was about to send him to his true death, it happened. Sookie went all magical and pulled her light bright action on Eric. And just like that the spell was broken. Anyone else hear air seeping from a balloon? Because that ending of the Amnesiac Eric storyline ended with a soggy ass wet balloon. What. The. Fuck! BOOOO!

Post coital Jason and Jessica felt all bad about the coitus. Basically, Hoyt is a big baby and no one wants him to cry. So no one will tell him just let in the dark, and they will all go on being unhappy – for Hoyt. To be continued because these two are hot for each other and usually you can’t contain that type of heat. Or so I’ve been told. Hoyt the next morning came over to Jason to bemoan his failed relationship and Jason basically goes to Sookie’s to stay because he like me doesn’t want to hear that shit.

There was some uninteresting but somewhat entertaining stuff with Andy and Terry fighting about Ands V-addiction. Not going any further with that because I don’t care.

I guess the most interesting came in the death of bow your heads… Little Puppy! That’s right folks Tommy died from the wolf beating he received last week. Instead of Alcide taking him the vet, Tommy asked to be taken to Marlotte’s. This was all flavors of sad I suppose, kid never had a real home, except for the bar. He even told Sam meeting him was the best part of his life. That sucks majorly for Puppy because all Sam did was yell at you a lot, throw you out a lot and shot you. But, Sam managed to muster some emotion as Puppy went on to join Lassie in doggy heaven. I know I’m being all silly about this, but it was SO melodramatic. Another huge problem I’m having with the show right now. Tommy’s dead, Sam’s wants revenge, Alicide is helping. The end.

Then there’s Antonia/Marnie. Remember how everyone felt all sorry for Marnie, because we all thought she was just a broomstick skirt wearing chick worshipping Mother Earth. Nope that bitch is crazy. Antonia “disengaged” herself from Marns and said she wanted out this vamp war because she never intended on humans getting harmed in it. But, Marnie wouldn’t let her and told Antonia how justice needed to be served or something, I again wasn’t listening that intently to the little soliloquies they both were saying because they were boring.

Eric as Eric tells Sookies he still loves her and remembers their love and still wants “them.” Sookie instantly turned back into Priscilla and said she loved Elvis as well and she couldn’t/wouldn’t choose between them. Elvis shimmed, The Viking pouted, and Pam rolled her eyes. Hell, we all rolled her eyes. Lame.

Anyway, Jesus and a rag tag Scooby gang composed of Lafayette, Sookie and Jason decides to free Tara and the rest of the captured Wiccans from Moonbeans or whatever before Bill and his crew blow it up, literally burning the witch. Jesus turned into some sort of Santeria voodoo God and penetrated Marnie’s orange force field. He thinks he’s helping Marnie only to find out she’s actually running the show. Marnie realizes Jesus has the Scooby gang with him and in some stolen from Star Trek moment a flash of blue light makes them all disappear. Everyone but Jason is gone. I guess we’ll find out where they disappeared to next week. Hopefully they went to a land with better writing.

Overall just like last week, I hated just about everything about this episode. We only have two left so I’m not sure what’s going to happen. I haven’t been drinking my cocktails while watching the last two episodes, is that the issue? Do I need to drink some spirits to make me less bored? All signs are pointing to yes. Overall, this was a terribly lame episode. I would give it a 4.5/10 if I were rating it. Thoughts, theories, groans, moans?

Episode #47: “Soul of Fire”
As the Wiccan-vampire standoff reaches acritical juncture, Sookie (Anna Paquin) summons her faerie powers to preventMarnie (Fiona Shaw) from bewitching Bill (Stephen Moyer), Eric (AlexanderSkarsgård) and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) into a suicide march, whileJesus (Kevin Alejandro) casts a secret spell designed to un-bind Marnie/Antoniaand break the witch’s deadly defenses. Sam (Sam Trammell) settles ascore with Marcus (Dan Buran); Alcide (Joe Manganiello) confronts Debbie (BritMorgan) about her allegiances; Andy (Chris Bauer) finds unexpected passion inthe forest; Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) is consumed by the past.

This contains big time spoilers. If you haven’t watched the episode, I am advising you turn back now. Save yourself.**It’s a sad day when I was more impressed with an episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey than True <strike>BLAH </strike> Blood. Seriously, did you see? Jacqueline put Ashley’s ungrateful ass out. HONEY it was a kick, let me tell you. But, since someone already recaps those delightful moments in episodic TV I’ll turn my attention back to our beloved show True Blood. Yes, fight fans, it was boring as hell, but let’s dig in nonetheless. This should be quick.

When last we saw Sookie Alcide was carrying her off into the foggy night. But, a mysterious ball of rhinestones and glitter fluttered by at lightning speed taking Sookie from the werewolf’s arms into Stackhouse Manor. It was Bill in his bestest ninja Rhinestone outfit, trying to force his magical blood down her throat to save her from death. But, for some reason Priscilla wouldn’t drink, causing Elvis to tell Alcide they needed to pray. Really? What in the hell kind of lazy writing was that?

I’m going to just knock the Sookie storyline out now, because she really was not significant this episode. Basically, she comes out of her mini-coma and demands that Bill find Lover Boy Viking ASAP. To which Alcide responds by stumping his feet, grunting loudly and his clothes fell off. Didn’t happen, but it should have. But, he did tell Sookie he was done with her shenanigans for this week and he was going to take his hotness elsewhere. Sookie did however find herself having a dream that I swear was ripped from Red Shoe Diaries. Remember that show? I used to sneak and watch that late at night as a child. Bet you don’t realize that’s David Duchoveny. Ha! Google it. Anyway, back to the show. Debbie shows up later to make an attempt to get Sookie to trust her by offering her help if she needs it. Of course, Sookie takes Druggie up on the offer and they hatch some sort of Lucy and Ethel-esque scheme where Debs distracts Marnie/Antonia while Sookie tries to free Eric. Tara who tells Sookie telepathically she and the rest of amateur Wiccans are being held against their will of course foils the plan. Plus Eric is under Martonia’s spell and tells Sookie to leave.

Much to my delight Hoyt had Jason to return Jessica’s belongings to her. I’m seriously having issues with Hoyt right now. Clearly I’m projecting but I cannot stand guy who reacts this way when they are dumped. Jessica could have had sex with Jason and glamoured everyone and no one would have been the wiser. But, she didn’t she was honest. Hoyt call Housedress and go home, that’s where you belong! Did I mention Jasonica had sex?! Love it! Suck it Hoyt! There was something about Sam and Luna and Marcus and a camping trip and a rabbit. That is all. Sam is BORING as hell this season. But, Tommy that’s a different story. For some odd reason, he once again shifts into his brother and goes to help with his big brother with that Marcus business. Marcus and his gang of weres put a beat down on Little Puppy. Alcide however puts a stop to the beating and carries Puppy to safety. Is this a pattern? Should I go outside and faint and wait for Alcide to come scoop me up? Never mind, I hate the outside, so that won’t be happening.

Now to the “point” of last night’s episode. Remember how I gave the show props for trying to go all dark with the doll/ghost plot. Well they fucked it up!! Last week Mavis the ghost hijacked Lala’s body and they went and snatched Behatted Baby from Arlene. After waking from a sound sleep they noticed Hattington was gone from his crib and Jason and to a much lesser extent was looking for him. They then received a call from Hoyt informing them that Mavis/Lala (Antonia/Marnie, is this a pattern as well?) was at his house with Hatrick carrying a gun. So off to the row house they go.

Mavis/Lala has decided to shoot everyone who tries to take her bay-be away. (Imagine a Creole accent there.) After shooting at everyone who beckons the threshold someone calls Jesus. The boyfriend not the actual Jesus just wanted to make that clear. He arrives and talks Mavis down and we get the complete back-story. Not only did her lover murder their child, he killed her ass as well. So, he buried Mavis and the infant in the yard backyard. Off to the backyard they all go to dig up the remains. Jesus cast some spell and Mavis and baby ascend to heaven inside a corny yellow light. What.The.Fuck? I am so disappointed! I thought this was going to be a horror moment, not some Goosebumps bullshit. Booooo! Now, I have no information saying any of this will happen. But, I have a sneaking suspicion Lafayette’s next storyline will be to find out who killed Mavis. In fact, I think I saw him trying to rent Scooby’s Mystery Van.

Antonia took her uber-witch act to what was supposed to be a Vampire Civil Right’s meeting and the episode ended with her basically using Eric to make an assassination attempt on Zsa-Zsa. I don’t know what exactly happened because I was half watching the show at this point. Overall, this had to be one of the most anti-climatic, lame episodes in True Blood history. I would give it a 5/10 if I were rating it. Thoughts, theories, groans, moans?

Episode #46: “Burning Down the House”
As all hell breaks loose in Shreveport, Sookie summons her most potent powers yet to save Bill, in the process breaking a spell and leading Marnie/Antonia to re-evaluate her mission. Jason urges Jessica to glamour him for Hoyt’s sake; Terry (Todd Lowe) drags Andy to “Fort Bellefleur” for an intervention; Alcide reconsiders his allegiances after Marcus’ fight with Tommy; Jesus, accompanied by Sookie, Lafayette and Jason, tries to breach the Moongoddess Emporium’s defenses to liberate Tara and Holly, while Bill leads a brigade of vampires committed to blowing the place to kingdom come.
Last week on Vampiresty, when we left Jessica she was full on preparing to turn into a pile of goo. But lucky for her Jason has made his way to Zsa Zsa’s to stop her. And he did! That high school football playing finally came in handy, because he tackles her to the ground and just as she was about to eat his face, Antonia was done with her spell. So, everyone gets to live for another episode. Well the main cast at least.

Anyone else love the way the weres look like biker’s and shit? The head werewolf or pack leader man who I’m calling Lucifer’s nephew advised the wolves to stay out of this impending witch versus vampire battle. And Debbie pleads with Alcide to abide by it. In other words, she’s asking him to stay away from Sookie.

Speaking of Sookie. I’ve truly never been a fan of TV Sookie, but I absolutely love her this season with Eric. After de-silvering him, he tells her he needs to feed. And the fun begins. The delicious Viking feeds off her, she then she feeds from him. It was this weird blood brother’s sex tryst haze thing. As cheesy as it was, I’m hat tipping Alan Ball, because Alexander Skarsgard has a hot ass! And any opportunity to see that is alright with me.

Sorry Hoyt, but I’m loving me some Jasonica. After Jessica wakes up she goes home to tell Hoyt that they are basically over. Hoyt reacts by crying and begging to which Jessica responds by smashing his head in. Before you weep for Hoyt, we find out it was all a dream. But, let me just get this all out of the way now. Jessica does decide to break up with him; in reality Hoyt’s reaction was to be a complete and total asshole to her. Note to Hoyt, when someone doesn’t love you anymore you do not get to call them names, especially when you knew she was only 17 when you started dating her. He even rescinds his invitation to their house. I bet you liked her smashing his head in better now.

And then there was Hoyt’s momma Madame Housedress and Little Puppy. Remember how Sam threw Little Puppy from the pound last week, Tommy who isn’t so bright decides to do what we all knew he would – shift into Madame Housedress so he can sell her oil or natural gas. I don’t remember which it was. Again, I’m hat tipping this time to the actress who plays MH, because she did a spot on impression as Tommy. Tallboys all around. (See episode for that reference.)

Behatted Baby’s French or better yet Creole au pair decides to make her usual disturbing appearance this week. This time we get her backstory and let’s just say it’s a damn doozy. Apparently, Le’Aupair back in the 20s was having an affair with a married man and gave birth to his son. While Le was out buying a doll, THE doll, the philandering bastard murders their son. DARK!! After Le’Aupair visits Behatted earlier at Marlotte’s, she decides Lafayette and her needs to get more acquainted. How does she accomplish this? By taking up residence inside Lala! Nice! She then goes to the Belfour Estate and takes the sleeping baby from its crib, all while wearing Lafayette like a Chanel suit. I am loving this storyline, its great horror at its best. Nothing like a good old fashioned ghost story.

Now I can’t have named this recap the way I did without mentioning the climax of this week’s little adventure. Zsa-Zsa decides to make a plea to Antonia to for a truce between the vamps and the witches. Antonia agrees to meet King ZZ in the woods so perhaps they can come to some sort of agreement. But, of course that all goes to pot, because the wiccans and Bill show up with troops which includes our Hot Viking boyfriend Eric and Sookie. And somewhere between Paul Revere’s warning the British that we were coming (per Sarah Palin’s take on history) the first shot was fired so to speak. I’m not really sure what happened but, literally in a single eye blink Eric pulled someone’s brain from their skull. True story. And that’s how The Great War of 2011 began.

Now bone picking time, Pam’s first victim was all lined up to be Tara and Zsa-Zsa steps in and commands her to stop! WTF, BILL?!?!?! And furthermore he tells Pam she can’t ever harm Tara! BOOOOOOOOOOO! for all that. Hate it, hate everything about that. Damn you Elvis, go away you bother me. Just when I was starting to like you, you go and save Terrible. Just for that everyone go step on some blue suede shoes? (Are we sick of the Elvis jokes yet, because I got more? )

In the second cliffhanger moment of the season during the battle Sookie gets shot. I’m not really sure who shot her, but she takes a bullet. And through the chaos Alcide shows up to carry her to safety. With Debbie looking on crying, and I would imagine plotting Sookie’s death. I’m not a fan of Druggie’s but can’t say that I blame her. It has to suck for your hot man to be in love with another chick.

There were some other storylines that I don’t care about including Sam and Luna and her baby daddy. There was Andy who is still a V-junkie and Jessica makes her feelings known to Jason and he too rescinds his house invite to her. That girl had a terrible week.

We end the episode with Eric on his knees in front of Antonia, but not in a good way. Once more the uber-witch is bewitching Eric to probably do something really bad. That needs to end, I like her and all but this effin’ with Eric must stop. Overall this episode was just ok, but entertaining because of the partial battle and the ghost moments. For those scenes I would give it a 7.0/10 if I were rating it. Thoughts, theories, groans, moans?

Episode #45: “Run”
Convalescing after her latest near-death trauma, Sookie envisions a world where there’s room for both Bill and Eric. Jesus (Kevin Alejandro) tries to purge the restless spirit out of Lafayette; Marcus enlists Alcide to help him deal with the Sam situation; Bill and Nan Flanagan (Jessica Tuck) clash over their agendas; Hoyt asks Jason to make a delivery to Jessica; despite Tara (Rutina Wesley) and Holly’s misgivings, Marnie plots her next move against the vampires, during a “Festival of Tolerance” event at Shreveport.

This contains big time spoilers. If you haven’t watched the episode, I am advising you turn back now. Save yourself.**
If haven’t heard Antonia Gabriel is back bitches! That chick is badass! I’m sorry Marnie has left the building and in her wake we get UBER-witch! The episode not only opened with Antonia declaring she was back but with her killing the girl from 8 Simple Rules by breaking her neck with one hand and sending the bald Latin vampire to try to fuck Zsa Zsa up! But, luckily rhinestones and Swarovski Crystals are bullet proof and Bill managed to take Mr. Clean down just in time to hear that Antonia is planning a Resurrection! That does not sound good.

Poor melting Pam has decided it’s time to get some good old fashioned street justice and pays Tara a visit. But, her plan to eat Terrible and her girlfriend (which they might have enjoyed. Sorry bad jokes happen.) is foiled when some stupid people standing by decide to videotape it for TMZ. Damn it! Tara gets to whine another day. If there was ever a time when I wanted to be underneath Jason while he working out was last night. What? He was doing push-ups and he needed a spotter. Y’all have dirty minds. Anyway, Hoyt tells Jason Jessica Rabbit is slipping away from him. Anyone want to take bets on how long before she ends up underneath Jason. Not spotting him.

Alcide and Druggie join the new wolf pack. Debbie decides to help Alcide look for Sookie because he is truly worried about her running around the woods at night during a full moon. Speaking of moans, <strike> moons</strike> that’s exactly what Sookie is doing. Moaning! Now there are MANY ways I can take the conversation when describing the hot sex Sookie was having with Eric. MANY ways. I mean I could say he pounded her like a new gavel. I could have said Sookie rode Eric like a cowgirl with a new horse. I could say those things, but I won’t. See advertising agency, its all clean around here. Anyway, Alcide caught Sookie and Eric relating to each other in a special way. Lucky BITCH!

Meanwhile, King Zsa Zsa has decided to order all the vampire’s silvered to keep them from reacting to Antonia’s Resurrection spell which would make all vampires have an urge to meet the sun. He sends word to Jessica and goes over to personally deliver silver chains to Sookie to silver Eric. Anyone else notice how Eric was dying to talk about his hot sex with Zsa Zsa? Pam called in our favorite elf doctor to help cure her case of the Zombie’s. Which she cannot but she gave her some high powered Botox that would keep Pammy from melting any further. Poor Pam.

Terrible was recruited by Antonia to join her in her quest to take down all vampires. And surprise dumbass decides to go around Bon Temps recruiting others to join in the shenanigans. Does she not realize how badly this is going to turn out for her in the long run? What a dumb woman this girl is! However, Terrible was able to gather a posse of fools. Speaking of fools, Sam and Luna figure out Little Puppy had shifted into him last week. Feeling nothing but anger Sam throws Puppy into the streets. Poor Puppy! Kid can’t get a bone. Ouch, that one hurt me too. Over at Marlotte’s Lafayette met Behatted Baby’s ghost nanny Frenchie. That’s not her name, but she looks like a Frenchie to me, I think it’s the finger waves. You see earlier Jesus’s grandpop told Lala he is a powerful medium. So, Lafayette went all Haley Jo Osment on us and turned saw Nanny in his kitchen, confirming what we knew Frenchie is some weird ghost brought on by the creepy little doll. Now, this is a good horror turn for the show. I’m really interested in this storyline.

Antonia and Terrible and the ragtag bunch of Wiccan’s start the spell. And low and behold it works, vampires from across the land start to wiggle and rive in attempts to get to the sun. In fact House Dresses aka Hoyts momma’s neighbor comes out of her house and burst into flames. Unfortunately, Jessica broke her chains. After Sookie tells Jason what was going on with the meeting of Sun, Jason went full sprint to Bills to save Jessica. We don’t know for sure what happened exactly because all we hear is a gunshot. Did Jason shot someone, did someone shot Jason? Nonetheless the episode ended with Jessica standing in the front door with the sun blazing.

Now, that’s how you do a cliffhanger! I mean Aaron Spelling would be proud. Overall this episode was sooooo much better than last week’s lack luster fairing. Just for the Eric/Sookie porn action I would give it a 9.0/10 if I were rating it. Thoughts, theories, groans, moans?

Episode #44: “Spellbound?”
As Bill and Marnie brace for a dangerous midnightfaceoff, Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Eric pledge their allegiance to the King. Jason (Ryan Kwanten) is torn between friendship and passion, and Jessica isspurned from two homes; Lafayette becomes the pawn of a tormented spirit; Tommy(Marshall Allman) takes a walk in someone else’s shoes; Sam contends withyet another adversary in Marcus (Dan Buran), Luna’s ex and the leader ofAlcide’s new pack.

This contains big time spoilers. If you haven’t watched the episode, I am advising you turn back now. Save yourself.**
Technically last night’s episode was called, ‘I Wish I was the Moon’. This cute little title was surely picked because everything revolved around the full moon that hung heavy over the crazy little parish. It got massive screen time. The moon had everyone in Bon Temps off to the race to the nuttiest.

So, naturally we pick up where we left off with Sookie and Eric about to get it ON, honey! I mean finally! There were golden bras everywhere; sequin falling from the sky, an Orchestra was playing Handel’s Messiah in the background. Just bliss for us all. And then it happened, the lights dimmed, and then there he was – Elvis, in his best rhinestone jumpsuit. It all stops! BOOOOOOO! Elvis wants to fight! Well, our good Viking engages and it’s bad. Bad for Bill that is! Eric literally tosses Bill’s ass across the room with no hesitation! Ha. Funny. Elvis is five seconds from being a well-dressed pool of blood. Sookie stops this by tells Eric Bill is his king. And like that Bill gets to live. DAMN!

Bill instantly snapped back to Zsa Zsa mode and ordered Eric silvered. Sookie of course tells Bill to release him that is if he ever loved her at all. To which Bill responded by telling his guards to shoot Sookie on site if she tries to free Eric. Ok, not really, but he did give orders to arrest her if she comes back to Graceland. Then Elvis went in the other room, took out his .45 and shot the TV because the Beatles were on The Ed Sullivan Show. True story.

Down in the dungeon at Graceland the newly zombied Pam is telling Eric who he used to be and blaming Lafayette, Tara and Jesus for bringing Marnie into their lives. She is mad and hell-bent on revenge for her melting face. This all does nothing for Eric because all he knows is he loves Sookie and wants nothing to do with the previous centuries where he and Pam according to her they tortured, killed, and maimed together. It has not been a good month for Pam! Sads.

Over at the projects where Arlene lives, she and Terry wake up to find their unit engulfed in flames. Acting quickly Terry tells her to grab Mikey, while he gets Child #1 and Child #2 from their rooms and for them all to meet outside. After frantically, searching for my favorite kid, Arlene informs Terry she can’t find him. Terry literally carries Arecrazy outside and the house explodes. Before you grab the tissues, Behatted Demon Baby is safe on the lawn playing with the ugly little doll. And most importantly the doll has invited a new friend over to join in the fun. What do we think of the beautifully coifed women smiling at BDB? What’s her story?

Of course Stupid Hot decides to get in on the action. After Sookie tries to reach him for days she finds he has handcuffed himself to his bed, because he is afraid he will turn into a werepanther. When he goes off in the woods alone, Sookie meets Alcide and <strike> Dopey </strike> Debbie who inform Sookie you can’t become a “were anything” from a bite. So basically Jason is stupid and so are all the yokels over in Hot Springs. I know that’s not what that town is called, but whatever it stays. Anyone else thinking that Debbie will be back to her old ways in about five more minutes? Meanwhile, Jessica hears Jason because of their blood connection and finds him freaking out about his impending “change.”She tries to console him. Hate it for you Hoyt. I like them together, let’s make that happen.

Little Puppy has discovered that because he murdered his momma he can now shift into a human. So, what does he do? He becomes Sam for the day. He fired Sookie, which was good and funny. And he had sex with Sam’s girlfriend, Whatshername. But then he threw her dress at her (which was cute btw) and told her he was done and she couldleave. That was bad and not funny. Some stuff happened with Andy and Tara. Don’t know, don’t care. I hope Pam kills them.
Now we have Marnie! Marnie! Marnie! She has brought the bad with her! The serious BAD! We finally learn the name of the high witchness that’s causing all these problems. Her backstory is DARK! There was torture and rape. Is it me or is there a lot of rape going on this season? Anyway, this chick is out for revenge, and her chosen vessel is Marnie, so tuck in folks.

And then IT happened. Bill grew a conscience and let Eric go. And how did he celebrate his freedom? He took a bus to Fort Hancock, Texas and underneath an obsidian rock he found a map to Ziuatanejo. And by that I mean he and Sookie FINALLY had sex in the woods. Can I get a whoop, whoop?

Overall, I’m sorry folks the episode was a little boring to me. I was more interested in painting my toes Electric Sapphire. Hot! I loved the zexy with Eric and Sookie, and the funny moments here and there with Jason and such. But, that’s about all. I would give the episode a 7.0/10 I were rating it. Thoughts, theories, groans, moans? ** Also, I apologize for the extreme delay in this post. Busy hating my day job.

Episode #43: “Cold Grey Light of Dawn”
With Marnie (Fiona Shaw) empowered by spirits of the dead, Bill (Stephen Moyer) issues an unpopular order to save vampires from the light. Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) embraces his amnesia; Luna(Janina Gavankar) discovers Sam (Sam Trammell) is not the man she thought he was; Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) expands his consciousness; Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) gets a body peel; Andy’s (Chris Bauer) date with Holly (Lauren Bowles) doesn’t go as planned; Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) has doubts about her future with Hoyt (Jim Parrack); Alcide (Joe Manganiello) and Debbie(Brit Morgan) join a new pack.

This contains big time spoilers. If you haven’t watched the episode, I am advising you turn back now. Save yourself.**
So, uh when are they going to start bottling fairy blood? Because apparently that junk is the bee’s knees. This week we began our little journey with Eric literally draining every ounce of blood from the newly departed Claudine. Afterwards Eric was like a horny vampire on E. Seriously during his little rollin’ session he slapped Sookie’s butt and once again tried to have sex with her. And once again she did the nonsensical and did not sleep him. Dumb bitch. Meanwhile, Bill decided to visit Pam and ask her of Eric’s whereabouts to which in her fantastic way told His Highness she had no idea where the hot Viking was hiding. Anyone else wonders who’s dressing this chick these days? Pam’s clothes this season are awesome!

Back in PossumVille, the gangbang continued for Captain Stupid. I take a little heat from the male fellow horror lovers for my love of this show. So, I got to say the whole gang raping of Jason is fucking creepy and I dare anyone to call it anything else. Anyway, they even sent a little girl in the room to partake of Jason’s man juice. If it wasn’t ewww worthy enough. Fortunately, the little girl was the only one with a brain cell and she actually freed Jason. Good job EllieMae! Perhaps you’ll graduate from the 6th grade.

This episode also marked the return of the Whitetrashington’s known as Sam and Little Puppie’s parents. Momma tells her pup that she has finally left Joedean(?) and they’s can be a family again! Yippee, Puppy exclaims and they skipped down to PossumVille’s creek to beat the laundry on the big rock. Granny and Ellie broke out the banjo’s and did a jig in celebration of the reunion. Fun! Lafayette, Tara and Jesus once again made an attempt to get Marni’s crazy ass to drop the spell on Eric. But, Marni explains that she can’t because HER has to undo it. And HER hasn’t faxed over the directions yet. I have to admit, Marni and this HER intrigues me.

Sookie calls Alcide to help her look for missing Eric. And we got what can only be called the best scene in HBO history. It came in the form of a skinny-dipping Eric! Wait, there’s more. Alcide transforms into human form of course he’s naked. I can’t think of a better moment to be Sookie at this point. In the water a naked Viking and at her side a magically delicious naked Alcide! It’s like a ride at Magic Mountain! Or it should have been. Nevertheless, they rescue Eric. But, she put clothes on him. DUMB BITCH.

During Jason’s escape he managed to make a spear from a tree branch and finally kill Skeeter or Cooter, or Jethro, whatever Crystal’s husband, brother name was. But, she shows up and proves how crazy her ass is. Crystal literally confesses her love for Jason and thinks they are going to be the new King and Queen of PossumVille. Ok, I’m about to give my opinion on something right now. Shocking, I know. And before I say this, I have no information if this is the case, but someone tell Arlene – it’s the damn doll! Arlene’s forever hatted baby boy was given a creepy ass doll by Jessica. Terry puts the baby down on the floor and leaves the room while the rest of the family was napping on the sofa. After Terry screams, they all awake to see written on the wall – Baby Not Yours. Hatted baby of course is holding the crayon, the raps been pinned out him. Poor kid. My advice to Arlene get that baby an agent, if he can write. Just saying.

After a few hours HER decided to take Marni’s call and sent the Scooby gang the instructions on how to cure Eric. Pam meets them out in the woods while they all basically stand there swearing waiting on Marni to break the spell. And just like that, HER shows up inside Marni again and cast a spell that turns Pam into a hideous corpse. Oh, shit, it’s on! Marni has to go! She’s fuckin’ with Pam! Do what you like to Tara and Jesus, but leave Pam and Lafayette out of it. Get me a pail of water!! Isn’t that how you kill witches?

There was some other stuff that happened. Bill tried to force Sookie to let him into her house, so he could look for Eric. This was after Mona Robinson (check your 80’s sitcoms involving Tony Danza for the reference) informed him that he has been screwing his great great grand-daughter. Shit, he is really is Elvis! Or was the Jerry Lee Lewis with cousin? Whatever. The Whitetrashington’s captured Little Puppy because the momma is a liar. Hoyt’s momma took off her housedress to go look for him. Sam found out his chick has a kid. Boring. And Jessica and Hoyt found Jason by the side of the road. Good, because he needs to start therapy pronto. Overall, again a pretty episode. I would give it an 8.5/10 if I were rating it. Extra points for skinny-dipping Eric and Alcide’s abs. Thoughts, theories, groans, moans?

Next week:
Episode #41: “I Hate You, I Love You”
Sookie nurtures Eric; Bill gets involved personally in the necromancy crisis; Pam takes the veil; Sam becomes Tommy’s accomplice; Arlene and Terry look to religion to solve their problem; Jesus and Lafayette head to Mexico to harness a shaman’s power; Jason convalesces. Written by Mark Hudis; directed by Daniel Minahan.
