Aww, we’ve entered the terrible twos. My how has time flown by, it seems like just yesterday I sat down at my computer to complain about how Michael Bay and his minions hated every child who grew up in the 80s. It seems like only yesterday when I pulled up a chair and made a dramatic plea to Nic Cage, to stop making films that are just terrible. We’re still rooting for you Nic! I hear good things about the The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

Let’s not forget the good times we shared, yes there has been a few. Remember, the joy that was The Orphanage, Let the Right one In, and lest forget the wonderfulness that was The Human Centipede . See them all! I am huge fan of Poe, I mean are you shocked? Anyway, Eddie is finally going to get a decent proper burial. Warm and fuzzy folk’s feelings, warm and fuzzy. I’m completely kidding. Seriously, if you are in the Baltimore area check it out.

Apparently, when Poe died he was the victim of some really unfortunate events. One hundred sixty years ago, the beleaguered, impoverished Poe was found, delirious and in distress outside a Baltimore tavern. He was never coherent enough to explain what had befallen him since leaving Richmond, Va., a week earlier. He spent four days in a hospital before he died at age 40.

Poe’s cousin, Neilson Poe, never announced his death publicly. Fewer than 10 people attended the hasty funeral for one of the 19th century’s greatest writers. And the injustices piled on. Poe’s tombstone was destroyed before it could be installed, when a train derailed and crashed into a stonecutter’s yard. Rufus Griswold, a Poe enemy, published a libelous obituary that damaged Poe’s reputation for decades.

But this coming Sunday Baltimore’s Poe House and Museum wants to make it right.
Poe’s funeral will get an elaborate do-over, with two services expected to draw about 350 people each — the most a former church next to his grave can hold. Actors portraying Poe’s contemporaries and other long-dead writers and artists will pay their respects, reading eulogies adapted from their writings about Poe.
“We are following the proper etiquette for funerals. We want to make it as realistic as possible,” said Jeff Jerome, curator of the Poe House and Museum.

And to make the event even more creepy realistic there will be a body.
“When they dug up Poe’s body in 1875 to move it, it was mostly skeletal remains,” Jerome said. “I’ve seen remains of people who’ve been in the ground since that time period, and there’s hardly anything left.”
Instead, Jerome commissioned local special-effects artist Eric Supensky to create an eerily lifelike — or deathlike — mock-up of Poe’s corpse.

“I got chills,” Jerome said Monday upon seeing the body for the first time. “This is going to freak people out.”
And to make the event even better, Gomez Adams will be there.
The body will lie in state for 12 hours Wednesday at the Poe House, a tiny rowhome in a gritty section of west Baltimore. Visitors are invited to pay their respects.

The whole concept for this movie is totally horrifying and should if done properly be scary on sooo many levels. The plot revolves around a theory that Satan created the Earth, not God. How utterly fucked up is that concept? Seriously.

The movie stars creeptastic Willem Defoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg as a couple who go to a cabin in the woods to recoup from the death of their child. It is there they discover the Devil actually created and runs the world. The movie is post-production so we should get a trailer pretty soon. The film is scheduled to be released in August of this year.

Btw, I had to post this image because Willem is usually pretty fug at face value, but his backside is a half a shade of hot. Who knew?

Don’t get me wrong there are some performances that should be rewarded, like Mickey Rourke’s performance in the Wrestler and Tariji P. Henson’s performance in The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons. But, then there’s the much over hyped films like Slum Dog Millionaire. While it is a good movie, I’m not so sure it should be, Movie of the Year. But, I can guarantee almost that it will win. And Danny Boyle will win for Director of Year.

So, if you’re not busy stop by we can make observations that no one cares about together. Sorry Wolfgang will not be supplying his famous salmon and caviar noshes. And, you will not get a lap dance from Johnny Depp, but you can say whatcha want in the comfort of your own freakin home. I’ll be drinking. Join me…

I am always amazed when some odd sexual practice has actually been done enough times, they have to take time to name it. But seriously, what ass clown is engaging in this? Word to any future lovers, don’t even think about striking me at anytime, I will not be a happy girl. Anyway on to ‘Donkey Punch.’

First off, I will definitely say it wasn’t as terrible as I thought it would be, it’s an enjoyable enough. The basic premise involves three girls who go on holiday and meet up with four men on a boat. Drugs and sex comes next of course, but things go all wrong with one simpleton decides to deliver a “donkey punch” to one of the girls, killing her in the process. Let the games begin!

This is not a change your life kind of movie and it’s not going down in history as a classic, but it is entertaining! I would definitely say rent it! And once again a word of advice to the youths out there, DO NOT HIT YOUR LOVER IN THEIR HEAD! Your dumbass will go to jail. It’s not worth it, just enjoy the sex.

Well, it’s definitely a done deal according to me lovelies over at ShockTilYaDrop. My best buddy Michael Bay and his minions are set to destroy remake A Nightmare on Elm Street. I hear a little black fedora weeping right now.

Here are the sadtails:
Since Comic-Con in July, it was unknown whether producers Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form were going to be involved in the reboot of the Freddy Krueger franchise. But today, Fuller and Form confirmed to ShockTillYouDrop.com that their deal is done. “It’s our next movie,” confirmed Form, “hopefully shooting this spring.”

Shooting is expected to take place in the Chicago suburbs.

So, will they ”re-image” Freddy as well. By, Freddy I mean the fabfucktabulous Robert Englund. Looks like he’s a memory!
Will Robert Englund be back? Fuller and Form say they’re seeking someone new to don the hat and red ‘n green sweater, but they’re hopeful Englund will be back for a part in the film.

I’m so annoyed by this information!! At least give us Robert! No one can wear that Christmas sweater better!
