*A bit of a disclaimer: There are two big spoilers in this summary. If you haven’t watched, flee now. You’ve been warned.*
Can I just say Lafayette is my Hero? More about that later, but I think if he was a real person, I would send him a thank you card. Anyway, True Blood is definitely getting better as it goes along. Last night’s episode was called, Mine. It continues to push the envelope with the sex and drugs. In fact the last night’s show should have been called, Sex. Trust me. And, isn’t that enough reason to watch this show? Kidding, just say no. To drugs, not sex.

Anyway, the show opens with Sookie in the clutches of last week’s three evil vamps. And, the tone completely turned from sinister to kind of comical once we are actually inside Bill’s house. In fact, it looked more like a bad 1970s porn set. Not, that I know, it’s just what come to mind. Bill’s friends immediately decide to feast on Sookie, as the female vamp Diane, points out she smells like a virgin. And virgin blood according to the vamps is the bestest tasting blood ever. Bill stops this from happening by proclaiming, “Sookie is mine!” Also, when you watch the episode look for Jerry. You’ll know him, he’s the one who looked like he escaped from a gay porn photo shoot. What is wrong with me today? Porn! My description of day for some reason. Turns out Jerry has Hepatitis-D. Apparently it’s the only bloodbourne disease that still affects vampires.
And, some people said I am too hard on Tara, but this week I understand why she is so angry. After seeing her mother last week, I understand her so much more now. So, needless to say she doesn’t want to go home, which gives her time to call out Sam about his love for Sookie, which he turns back on her for love of Jason. We also find out that Dawn the waitress and many others definitely have no problems having sex with Vampires. Sookie and Bill their first fight.
Now one of the most out of left field moment happens with Tara and Sam. If you don’t want to be spoiled turn back now!!! Tara offers to Sam sex. He declines, but quickly changes his mind. And in other sex during the night we get Jason and Dawn. During their tryst, Jason has a vision of that bald vamp friend of Bill’s, and that makes Jason well, deflate it you will. They have a huge fight and Dawn points a gun at Jason, and Jason flosses. Funny. And, we get one of two scenes that will make us girls and gay guys gleefully happy, Dawn throws Jason out naked. And he shouts for the neighbors to hear. Setting up himself up for something later, hint, hint.
Some more a tad boring conversations happen between Sookie and Bill. Sam barks in his sleep. Tara’s mom is trying to give Mommy Dearest a run for her money. And Lafayette is not only the local drug-dealer, he is also a mini-prostitute. There were some nods to Buffy and Blade from Sam. The grandmother mocked me and my Starbucks addiction. We also learn that the grandfather had Sookie’s ability. And, can I just say, Lafayette you are king! Thank you for making Jason dance in his underwear, we love it!
Overall, the episode was filled with great surprises. And one more time, lots of shots of a half-naked Jason. And Lafayette your body ain’t bad either, I might add. I would give it an 8.5/10 if I were rating it. The show is seeping its way into be a must see for me, almost there, but not quite. Thoughts, groans, moans?
I will leave you guys with these questions for next week’s episode:
Big one! Who killed Dawn? Is it the same person who killed Maudette?
Is this person deliberately setting Jason up?
Are they trying to throw us off the track with Sam being the dog?
Will Sookie get laid?
Watch the previews below. The first is for next week and the second is for the rest of the season. Enjoy!

I’m an avid watcher already. I love the show quite alot. You seem to be the only person on the same trail as me, about the Marlotte thing (That I can see so far) He called the dog Brother in this last episode, and I wonder what happens next. Specially to Jason, I see the screaming in the episode preview and think “What did his penis explode?” <_<; To quote Lafayette’s remark “Take more than that and things will get a little intense, and not in a good way.” I have a feeling because Jason and Sookie are related and siblings tend to share psychic powers (his is different) that he’s having visions of the “evil” vampire before they strike and sadly, yes it is getting the poor guy in a pickle.
I enjoy reading your blog alot.
