The Midnight Meat Train, $1.00 for the Ride

File this under stupid or brilliant. In a summer where we sat through The Strangers and The Happening, which were both bloody awful. Lions Gate has decided to only release The Midnight Meat Train, which looks good in clips, in selected theaters across the country instead the wide release I was expecting. But, on a good note it will only cost you $1.00 to see it. Yup, they are showing it at the dollar movie theaters.

I’m not sure why they choose to do this, maybe they are afraid Joker was going to kick their ass. Which is quite possible. So, it might be a smart plan to only do a limited release.
